Wood Butcher is back...

Lost how to get into the blog, but stumbled on to it again.  Hopefully, I can find my way back many more times.

Am back in to doing wood work again,  Bought a 1915 Sherwood Springs Coaster Wagon, ( a kids wagon) It is intact, all orginal except for the handle.  Made a handle for it, but the wagon is well aged, and the handle is "new wood".  Talked to a few people on how to age the wood.  Got four or five different ways, but the one that triggered me was the TEA, VINEGAR and STEELWOOL technique.

I tried it, and it was/is amazing, overnight my wagon handle looks almost as old as the wagon itself. A little more treatment, and it will be ready to try to attach.

Anyone else ever used this method to age wood?
